Can GROHE Blue replace a normal kitchen tap?

Yes. GROHE Blue installs in place of the existing kitchen tap and still provides normal hot and cold mixed water. Filtered water travels through a separate internal waterway so it never mixes with the standard supply.

Two waterways, one tap

The mixer lever behaves exactly as your current tap does. A separate control draws filtered water, which is kept apart from the mixed supply inside the tap body.

What changes

  • A single tap hole is used, so no additional sink cut-out is needed in most kitchens.
  • Under-sink equipment is added to the cabinet.
  • Drinking water is drawn from the dedicated control instead of a bottle.
