What does a GROHE Blue system need below the sink?

GROHE Blue Pure needs room for a compact filter head and cartridge plus vertical clearance to change it. GROHE Blue Professional needs a dedicated cabinet zone for the cooler-carbonator, ventilation clearance around it, a nearby electrical socket, a cold water connection and access to exchange the CO₂ cylinder.

Measure the cabinet before you order

Most installation delays in UAE kitchens come from cabinet contents rather than plumbing. Waste bins, water heaters and boiler units frequently occupy the space a cooler-carbonator needs.

Water connection

Both systems connect to the cold water supply with an accessible isolating valve. Existing flexible hoses are usually replaced during installation so the filtered waterway stays separate from the mixed supply.

Electrical supply

Professional requires a socket inside or adjacent to the sink cabinet. Extension leads inside a wet cabinet are not acceptable; if there is no socket, arrange one before the installation date.

Ventilation

Access for consumables

  • Leave room to lift the filter cartridge straight out for replacement.
  • Keep the CO₂ cylinder reachable without removing the cooler.
  • Avoid placing drawers or fixed panels across the service side.

A site review confirms all of this before installation is priced, so nothing is quoted on assumption.
